Jenne Pineau

Jenne Pineau is an artist born in Paris in 1989. She now lives in the Dordogne region of France.
She began painting flowers as a child, encouraged by her family, who quickly opened the door to her artistic career. “As a child, I wanted to be a forensic scientist, landscape architect, and fashion designer.”
After earning a bachelor’s degree in applied arts, she enrolled at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where she studied design and fashion.
She then cut her teeth in haute couture at Yiqing Yin, where she explored textile finishing and embroidery.
Since 2015, she has been developing her work through painting on multiple media in various fields and collaborating with major brands such as Dior and Le Printemps.
Influenced by the decorative and symbolic freedom of Nabis painters such as Felix Vallotton and Paul Sérusier, Jenne creates fantastical landscapes in which the sky and earth are inverted, and day rubs shoulders with night.
She uses florals as an alibi for the turmoil present in each of us.
