Louise Duneton

Louise Duneton is an artist and illustrator. She lives and works in Paris. A graduate of the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg (where she now teaches), her work is multidisciplinary, questioning the relationship between scale in drawing, illustration commissions, solo exhibitions, and scenography.
Using 19th-century scientific documentation on medical anatomy and botany, Louise Duneton explores the connection between the body and the landscape, both in terms of color and immensity. In her ink work, landscape enters anatomical representations like a dreamlike transposition that reveals the poetry of the organic. Through visual analogies, she confronts the nature in which we exist as humans with our inner landscape, both literally and figuratively.
Her installation and scenography work is presented in solo and group exhibitions (Galerie Huberty & Breyne, Galerie Ariane C-Y, Pavillon Blanc art center, Galerie Modulab, Fondation François Schneider) as well as theatrical collaborations (Cie Les Bas-bleus, Cie Faisan). She collaborates with Télérama, Causette, JDD, Sorbonne Université Presses, etc.
Louise co-founded the 22RUEMULLER venue in Paris (2011-2019).
She is represented by Galerie Huberty&Breyne | Chapon.
